Job purpose summary 

The Head of Finance & People has the overall responsibility for finance, administration and HR in the company. An important part of the position is to establish and continuously improve the company’s practices and business processes. The Head of Finance & People shall also contribute to the development of a strong and energetic culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO and the management team to set vision and strategy, and drive both with metrics, results and operating models.
  • Overall accountable for all financial activities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth and long-term financial goals
  • Support the company's fundraising efforts, oversee cash flow, and manage the company's capital structure
  • Oversee the financial operations of the company, including forecasting, accounting, and internal and external financial reporting
  • Responsible for general business operations and administration
  • Drive business operations & improvements, including facilitating contracts, and business processes
  • Ensure compliance with law and company’s policies
  • Admin related tasks
  • Responsible for overall HR including recruiting, benefits, employee appraisals, internal communication and culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in finance, business or equivalent education (i.e. MBA)
  • Proven track record of success in accounting/controlling/finance field
  • Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting
  • Strong experience with ERP- and other finance and business support systems
  • Solid experience in HR and general leadership
  • Proven negotiations skills
