VP of Sales and Marketing


Job purpose summary 

The VP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for all sales and marketing activities and is part of the company management team. The overarching job objective is to secure company revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Build, lead and motivate a strong sales and marketing organization
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to meet the company’s revenue goals
  • Establish and maintain pricing strategies
  • Build and maintain adequate CRM processes, including sales pipeline and pipeline management
  • Tracking and continuous  improvement of sales performance
  • Set quarterly and yearly sales targets on teams and regions
  • Builing and maintaining relationships with key strategic customers
  • Support and mentor direct reports in their sales efforts
  • Provide customer and market feedback to the CEO and the management team.
  • Overall responsible for all marketing efforts such as campaigns, advertising, media and website
  • Represent company at exhibitions and trade shows
  • Provide company-wide ambitious and accurate 12-month rolling sales-forecast

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master's degree
  • Strong international sales, marketing and business experience in a relevant industry
  • Deep understanding of a sales process and industry best practices
  • Relevant experience leading sales organisations
  • Excellent in building and maintaining strong customer and partner relationships

  • Good leadership skills and ability to create highly motivated teams
  • Self-driven, energetic and ambitious
  • Great customer interaction skills
  • Capable of extensive travel activities
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong track record of delivering results
  • Good written and oral communication skills
